How can I add captions to my chart?
YES ! It's new in version 2.0. There
are now two ways:.
1. Allorws captions in BG 2.0 to be created. These
are texts in Cinema 4D with extrusion set to a customized
value.
Warning,
you will
have
to deal with angle and perspective problems, and with
chart legibility issues. Use background too...
2. Add a caption to your picture with your favorite
painting tool: PhotoShop, Fireworks or other... This
is the best way obtain a good result that can
easily be modified.
Is Business Graphs compatible with Mac?
Yes, this plugin is fully compatible with Mac. It was
tested on both systems. [See
example]
Is Business Graphs compatible
with version 9.x ?
YES! Business Graphs 2.0 was developped under C4D
7. We managed to update the plugin for C4D
9.52. All updates are free for
all users.
Is
Business Graphs still compatible
with version 6 or 7 ?
Yes, we do have
a version for this too...
Does the plugin work with Excel? Does it open .xls files?
Yes, indirectly. You can save your data as CSV file
in Excel. Business Graphs will open .CSV files generated
in Excel or Access. It cannot read .xls format.
I've just generated a .csv file
with Excel, and Business Graphs cannot open the file.
You have to close your Excel document,
otherwise Excel locks your file and there is no way
you can access your file with from application whatsoever.
Business Graphs refuses to
build the chart based on my personal object.
Your object must be unique: use
the C4D "Connect" function.
How do I texture my volumetric
curves chart like in yourexample?
Use a "Gradient" shader
provided with C4D or BhodiNUT (version 7 and over).
I can't use flags of the "european
flag" theme, do I have a texture error?
The flag pictures are available to our users in the
BusinessGraphs\presets\tex folder. Two possibilities
:
- Move the tex/ folder with all files to a folder
known by C4D as texture path.
- In C4D general settings, add the texture path to
these textures.
Are updates free? How much
does it cost to update from BG for C4D 7.x to 8.x
or 9.x ?
Yes! BG are lifetime free updates. It's our way of
thanking users who have been supporting us since the
very early
versions (from 1.1 to 2.01, from
BG for C4D7 to C4D9...).
